Restaurants rely on WiFi, but connections fail. Without a fallback, a blank screen sends the wrong message.
How Heavy Menu handles it
Our service worker caches every slide, video, and image during a startup loading phase. If the internet drops, the playlist continues from local storage. A wake-lock keeps the TV awake.
Persistent storage
We request persistent storage permission so browsers won't evict your cached media. Your menus survive reboots and outages.
